  • NEITHER YOUR TEACHER NOR THE BRITISH WHEEL OF YOGA ARE QUALIFIED TO EXPRESS AN OPINION THAT YOU ARE FIT TO SAFELY PARTICIPATE IN ANY BRITISH WHEEL OF YOGA ORGANISED SESSIONS.

  • YOU MUST OBTAIN PROFESSIONAL OR SPECIALIST ADVICE FROM YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE PARTICIPATING IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT.

  • ALL BRITISH WHEEL OF YOGA, ACCREDITED GROUP TEACHERS OR RECOGNISED TEACHERS ARE APPROPRIATELY QUALIFIED, WITH HIGH STANDARDS OF TEACHING AND BEST PRACTICE.  WHERE POSSIBLE, YOUR TEACHER MAY OFFER SUITABLE MODIFICATIONS OR ADJUSTMENTS AND PRACTICES TO SUIT DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY.   • IN ALL CLASSES WHETHER FACE TO FACE, LIVE STREAMED REMOTE OR PRE-RECORDED REMOTE, ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR TEACHER’S SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.  WHERE MOVEMENT OR CLASS IS BEYOND YOUR EXPERIENCE OR ABILITY, FEELS TOO DIFFICULT FOR YOU, OR YOU EXPERIENCE ANY PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL DISCOMFORT, PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE.

  • FOLLOW ANY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS OR SUITABLE MODIFICATIONS OR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE EXERCISE AS INSTRUCTED.

  • IN THE ABSENCE OF ANY NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER BREACH OF DUTY BY YOUR TEACHER, PARTICIPATING IN THIS YOGA CLASS IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

  • A RISK ASSESSMENT IS CARRIED OUT FOR EVERY FACE TO FACE YOGA CLASS.

 

ON-LINE:

  • WHERE YOU ARE TAKING PART IN LIVE-STREAMED CLASSES, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE INSTRUCTOR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOU AT ALL TIMES.

  • CLEAR ENOUGH SPACE TO SAFELY CARRY OUT THE EXERCISES WITHOUT HITTING ITEMS AROUND YOU.

  • CHECK THAT THE DEVICE YOU ARE USING IS SECURELY POSITIONED AND WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH YOUR MOVEMENT.

  • LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. IF SOMETHING DOESN'T FEEL RIGHT STOP.

  • FOLLOW ANY SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS OR SUITABLE MODIFICATIONS OR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE EXERCISE AS INSTRUCTED.

  • PLEASE ARRIVE 5 MINS BEFORE CLASS AND READY TO PRACTICE.

  • TURN OFF YOUR ELECTRONICS - PHONES, WRIST WATCHES, IPADS—ANYTHING THAT DINGS, RINGS OR BUZZES—SHOULD BE TURNED OFF.

  • ADVISE THE TEACHER PRIOR TO THE CLASS STARTING OF ANY INJURY OR CONDITION (SUCH AS PREGNANCY) THAT MAY EFFECT YOUR PRACTICE.

  • PLEASE FILL IN A MEDICAL HISTORY FORM BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS.

  • PLEASE REMOVE SHOES BEFORE ENTRY TO THE STUDIO.

  • NO FOOD TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE STUDIO.  ONLY NON-SPILLABLE DRINKING BOTTLES AND FOOD/DRINK FOR YOUR BABY AT BABY YOGA.

  • WEAR SUITABLE COMFORTABLE CLOTHING.

  • YOGA IS PRACTICED BAREFOOT SO ONLY GRIPPY TOE SOCKS IF NECESSARY.

  • PLEASE PARK WITH CONSIDERATION, DEVON ROAD IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA.

  • RESPECT THE TEACHER'S SEQUENCING - DON'T DO YOUR OWN ROUTINE.

  • DON'T TRY TO IMPRESS ANYONE - YOGA IS NOT A COMPETITION. THERE AREN'T ANY PRIZES FOR POSES. YOUR PRACTICE WILL BE DIFFERENT EVERY SINGLE DAY.

  • PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE CLASS BEFORE THE END, DON'T SKIP SAVASANA.....IT'S THE GOOD BIT.

  • SHOULD AN EMERGENCY ARISE, INFORM THE TEACHER OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES SO THAT THEY MIGHT ASSIST YOU AS NECESSARY.

  • PLEASE RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE’S PHYSICAL AND PERSONAL SPACE….I LOVE A CHAT BUT NOT EVERYONE DOES.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

WHEN YOU SIGN UP FOR A COURSE YOU ARE COMMITTING TO THE DURATION OF THE COURSE. YOU WILL NEED TO GIVE FIVE DAYS NOTICE TO CANCEL YOUR SPACE ON THE COURSE FOR A FULL REFUND. IF YOU CANCEL WITH UNDER FIVE DAYS NOTICE YOU WILL LOSE THE COST OF THE FIRST CLASS.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS IF YOU MISS A CLASS FROM THE BLOCK. IF I CAN FIDN SPACE FOR YOU IN ANOTHER CLASS I OF COURSE WILL BUT THIS CAN'T BE GUARANTEED.

INDIVIDUAL CLASSES: IF YOU GIVE 48HOURS NOTICE YOU WILL RECEIVE A REFUND FOR THE CLASS, LESS THAN 48 HOUSRS NOTICE THEN NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.

WORKSHOPS: IF YOU CANCEL YOUR WORKSHOP FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT A FULL REFUND WILL BE OFFERED. IF YOU CANCEL LESS THAN FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT 0% REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
